To use a Stylus pen or not? I ordered one for my daughters IPad ........

I ordered one from walmart for a stocking stuffer for her for X-mas. What do all of you think? Do you use the pens or your fingers? Which do you like better and why? TIA.

I use a stylus all the time with my tablets. It's more accurate. A fingertip is too big and often touches the wrong thing, but that is my experience.

I ordered a multipack of these from amazon and keep tkem all over the house and in my purse. The dollar tree carries them,too.

Oh thank you PP The ones in the dollar store are they a universal for a Ipad Apple as well I was told they were not?

I personally like the mesh ones. They don't leave smudge marks like the rubber ones.

I never used a stylus and never planned on getting one. But one day a coworker had purchased a set of 20 and was giving them out to people. So I thanked her and took one.

Game changer!!! I love using the stylus. I probably use it at least 50% of the time I am on my phone - especially for games, emails, online ordering.

I also bought a pack of 20 on ebay and keep them various places...kitchen, night table, in handbags. Love them

I received one with a tablet I bought a long while ago....it was cumbersome to me and i went back to using my finger...Maybe I should try it again...if i can find it...lol...

I use a music app that requires a stylus for best results. Works great!

Oh wow! Thank you so much for all the great posts. What a help you are to me. Not many if any threads about these items here that I could find. My teen daughter has been asking for one for awhile. I am embarrassed to say I never heard of them until she mentioned it. Oh well trying to keep up with today's gadgets is really something these days. Have a great day!

Once you get used to using a stylus, you never want to go back to the finger. They don't last long, however. I go through them so fast, I've started ordering packs of multiples with extra tips from Amazon. I also don't like the very short ones.
