Re: To all TracFone users/lovers

Thanks @x Hedge!!  Tons of useful info.  Glad to know that those lengthy texts broken up and out of order are normal.  One of my friends does write a lot...lol.  It would actually be better for her to be a blabber on the phone as I have substantially more voice minutes (she is a talker too) but I can handle her long texts as they aren't all that often.

As to the data, yes, I do usually have access to wi-fi, and I thought I viewed the video when I was home (where I definitely have wi-fi) but who knows.  I didn't use much data so I'm not concerned, just wanted to be aware if I was doing something that used data unnecessarily.

Re: To all TracFone users/lovers

@sueinsf,

Lol. I had one who started her call with,

"I don't want to just talk about nothing and waste all your minutes."

She stopped talking 38 minutes later.

I stood there reviewing everything she'd said, and thinking I could put everything meaningful from that call in a single text and have characters left over.

Since you hav regular access to Wi-Fi your data should be OFF unless you're sending or downloading a MMS (multimedia text). You don't need data to play it once it's in your phone.

In the device's Data usage settings, you should have the Background Data Restricted turned on.

In your Google settings you should be sure your apps DO NOT auto update.
