All of a sudden the last few days all the phone calls are doubling under the Caller ID setting. I called Time Warner after I had already reset both of my DVR's. They asked about everything I already did. Then they told me to leave both TV's on and both DVR boxes. They reset them by remote from their site. Later I tried them and they started coming in ok. Today it started all over again. It fills up the Caller ID too quickly and then the Caller ID doesn't come up on the screen. Are there any other 

viewers having this problem? We are in upstate New York.

Yes. I sure hope Charter is better than what this has been lately. My son calls us from Dallas,Texas and his phone comes through a completely different name. We spoke to Time Warner and gave him the correct phone number and name as well as the incorrect name and how they could fix it. I called Sprint-as that is where his phone is from- and they said it was fine and tell Time Warner to update their data base. Well they must have did that yesterday as it now comes through in my sons name.

I've had Charter (just for cable tv) for MANY years and it's always really been pretty good.  Virtually no outages and, for about 99%, top notch service.

I'm just hoping that their acquiring of TWC will bring TWC up to those standards instead of bringing everything downward.  I've always heard so many complaints about TWC.

I am in the middle of also changing my internet and landline service to Charter, so I REALLY hope it goes well.  I don't really see how it could be any worse than what I've gotten in the last 9 months with ATT Uverse (was with regular ATT DSL and phone for years before that).  Plus, I'll save money.

Mine (Cox) has been in Spanish for months............I'm not complaining..........just curious, since my surname is not Latin................

Not to get off subject but recently I called my sister about a mile away, and my Tracfone cell number came through as Marietta and a completely different cell number? Not my name nor number so I wonder if it pinged off a different tower than usual and did that. I have had my same cell number for 10 years and never had that problem before.
