Thoughts on Samsung Galaxy Note tablet refurbished

I am thinking about purchasing this as a gift to myself for christmas......I am not looking at puchasing from the q as i can get a better deal elsewhere but does anyone have thoughts on refurbished products as a whole...........this is still an investment for me even as a refurbished unit........so i would like to know anyones thoughts on refurbished items.....are they worth the price .......no issues? etc etc etc
