I was wondering if anyone who has purchased an Apple iPad or MacBook from either QVC or HSN if they took advantage of Mac U that came with their purchase. If you have used it, was it informative and easy to follow? Would it be worth it to purchase it? TIA

@jackthebear, unfortunately, the closest Apple store is over 60 miles away. I'm pretty familiar with my devices but I know they can do so much more and I thought that might help. Thanks.

@Toot1920  Apple computers as well as their iOS products have "built-in HELP" feature.

Apple also has YouTube tutorials.

They also have their own message board for every product they make.

If you are under warranty and/or have AppleCare, call them.  They will be happy to provide instructional help over the phone.

@Mz iMac, thanks. I just thought that it would be faster to look around on MacU instead of calling. You mentioned that there's "built in help", where would I find that on iPhones or iPads? I'm not having any problems, I just wanted to look around to see all of what my phone and iPad are capable of. There's so much that I know that I'm not utilizing.

@Toot1920  Everything you want to know about Apple products can be found on their website for FREE!

Sorry I do not own any of Apple's iOS products.  I assummed iOS had built-in HELP like Apple's OS products.  So sorry for the misinformation.  Anywho, check these out from Apple's website.......

Your post is rather confusing.  Why would you pay a 3rd party to learn a device that they do not own than learn from the manufacturer FOR FREE that owns, designs & makes their products?  confused.gif

@Mz iMac, thanks for the reply. I can find videos and other help on my devices under Support App and Tips app, along with googling it. I will look more into those. I know how and where to look for a specific question or problem. I just thought that it would be helpful to check out videos  on things that I didn't know that I could do on my phone or iPad and that it would be helpful.

The user guides are wonderful and can be saved.  Don't waste your money.

I still sometimes goggle something or other.  Or ask a grandkid 😂

For a big update, just going down the menu can be revealing too.

Have fun!
