Our school district was just notified that devices promised for delivery by mid-August will not arrive until at least mid-October. Virtual instruction begins on September 8th & I teach at a low income school with families that cannot source their own devices. Does anyone have any ideas about donating new or used devices?

You lost me. Devices promised will be delivered late, and you want to donate your used devices? Check all your local charities to start.

If there are any big corporations near you, give them a call. Many businesses rent many more computers than they need so they'll have spares should the need arise. It would be good PR for them to loan those surplus devices to the school. Big companies typically have community relations and media relations personnel. If you can get to one of them you might get your devices.
