Tech question about new Clickfree TSV

This new one will now back up your operating system and the programs, which is nice. What I would like to know is if your backed up computed totally dies from a mechanical failure (internal damage like lightening or power surge or dropped while moving) will it "restore" a new computer just purchased at a store which had never been backed up by your click free. They just seem to be discussing recovering from virus damage. Seems unlikely to me but want some other thoughts on the matter. Thanks.
