Not sure what I did or what I hit but all of my icons disappeared from the bottom and went to the side and I lost the taskbar space on bottom.  I finally got the page looking okay now but my icons won't show unless I point to the taskbar.  They disappear and I only have a blank blue space.  I went on and clicked on view but I see nothing to show icons.  Can't seem to get them back permantently.  I did notice that for some reason the touch keyboard icon is on it when it appears, don't know where that came from.  Otherwise the page looks normal.

@kismet     Do you have a PC?    At the VERY top left of your "page" there is a "menu bar" selection that looks like several blank pages with a dark border. 

It is the "Tab Action Menu".    Click that and it will allow you to choose a horizontal task bar.

I'm on a computer.  I was on the menu bar several times and nothing worked.   I did manage to get it back to where it was.  I have no idea how I fixed it since I was searching and going back and forth.  I'm wondering if my computer updated and something changed.  This has happened before.  Firefox could have updated since it's on auto update.  That caused it the last time.  Thanks.

Yes, Firefox did update Friday, January 28th.  Got me again.

I use Firefox, did the update and didn't have any problems.

It must of updated when I left the computer and when I got back it was a mess.  This happened before and should of suspected an update to begin with.  I have no idea how I fixed it but it's fine today.

Something which I find helpful when stuff updates is do a Disk Cleanup. That will get rid of lingering old files which may interfere with the new updated files. Things will usually appear and work normal after that.

The first thing I did was clean everything out and still had the problem.  Checked for a virus and ran CCleaner.  I tried different things and got it all back to where it was.  This affected the taskbar, my icon page and the page that has the start on it.  The start page was half gone, the icon page was gone and the taskbar was on the side of the start page.  I was thinking maybe I would have to take it in to have it fixed.  Luckily I got it all back and working.  I did find online that others had a problem with the update.
