My sister and I want to buy iPads for our birthdays (close together) and plan to go out and purchase one each next week. We are both teachers and want them primarily for school and fun.

I'm getting cold feet due to the cost - I hate spending money - but we have both saved up all year so we could get one.

We're both middle of the pack as far as computer savvy - we both use computers daily at home and school- she's a blogger - and we're not 'afraid' of computers like some of our 'age' group - yet I wonder if I'll use it as much as I think??? I'm not afraid to try new stuff - more like intrigued?

3D friends all say - get one - it would have to be WiFi as I live in the mts. and we get rather spotty cell phone service.
