I noticed many people in this forum are talking about their tablet(s). I want to post a link to help folks who have not starting looking. I own a few tablets.

I think the Samsung Galaxy 7" is the one that I want to buy. It is selling for $175.00 right now. Because I have heard that there is a new model coming out in April, I am wondering if I should just wait a few weeks and get the newest one. This will be my first tablet and I am electronics impaired, should I just get what is available now or wait a few weeks before I buy? Simple/ease of use is a priority. I don't know what the new features will be. Any advice? Thank you.
Another question: Is an unused iPhone 3 of any use at all? Can it be used as a mobile hot spot or camera? I don't want to pay $50/month for a cell phone because I don't use the phone. Thank you again.

PC Mag and CNET are some of my favorite review sites. I love that CNET has an editor's review as well as user reviews. I used reviews from both of those sites to help my dad find a printer for my mom and I would definitely use them to help me choose a tablet.

You may want to look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8". This tab is larger, and you can display web pages better. It has double the storage of the Samsung Galaxy 7". Samsung makes very user friendly products. You can find customer reviews at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart.

Thank you Nutmeg. Went and bought the 8"" today. It looks great. Only problem is the instructions are on the Internet (not printed out for easy read) and I do not have a printer. Will have to figure this out. The tablet looks very impressive and it will keep me busy trying to learn how to use it. Thanks again.

Hi, nutmeg3! It was so good of you to share those links! I'm a big fan of iPads, but I'm aware that tablets aren't a one-size-fits-all. I always try to recommend that people think about what they want the device to do for them, ask friends and family what they like, find the latest comparisons online, and even go to a b&m store and get the "feel" of the devices. It's gotten so complicated with all the choices, and it's so thoughtful of you to help simplify the process.

I usually save the service manual in a file on my computer, and skim it when I need help. These guides are usually too large to print. http://www.samsung.com/latin_en/support/model/SM-T3110ZWLTPA-downloads?downloadName=UM
Enjoy your tablet.
