TV Sound

We don't know why but all of a sudden the music and background noise on our television is so loud we can barely hear what the characters are saying. We've adjusted all of the remotes and nothing seems to work. We have a BOSE sound system so we have that remote and the XFINITY remote as well as the Hitachi TV remote. It is annoying and LOUD!! Any ideas???
