Playing with my phone last night and this morning I discovered that I can independently set both incoming and outgoing calls to one of three settings: All, contacts only or block all.

If any of my earlier phones that that option I never found it but that feature alone makes this phone a keeper.

The one negative I've found is not being able to download ringtones. According to the tracfone site it is not a feature of this phone.

I've received this phone and am trying to get used to it. I think there is a free app I need that tells me how many minutes I have left but I don't know what it is called. Can anyone advise?

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tracfone.tracfone.myaccount&hl=en

The app is called ""Tracfone My Account"". I usually read reviews and see if an app is good.

I am sure you know how to install an app after setting up your ""Google Play"" account. You will need to use wi-fi to download an app.

problem with tsv of 10/30! We have used tracphones for the past 7 years or so, and never have had a problem until today. Always purchased from HSN. I was so happy to see QVC had an android phone that would work in my zip code. Mostly when I put in the zip, it says no service in your area. When I entered my zip this time, hooray, service to my area...To make a long story short, I transferred my old phone number to my new phone...It never fully activated. Said I could only make emergency calls! About 36 hours later, I was talking to three different people in three different countries trying to figure out what was wrong...Go outside and find more bars...What? Of course, I did that, but nothing more came up. This conversation went on for one and a half hours!!!! My old phone's SIM card is now inactivated, my minutes are lost...Very, very unhappy with Tracphone. Tracphone will be sending me a new SIM card for my OLD phone...Don't know if I have lost all of my 3800+ minutes or not. Supposedly, I will not lose my old phone number, which I have had for years. Could not understand Tracphone representatives at all. Meanwhile, I am without a phone. Didn't realize that this phone ran on Verizon, which is available in the next county, but not ours.....Disaster! Don't know why it said it would work in my zip code, when obviously it will not!

Got this phone I have one question how do I get a users manual?? There wasn't any in the box. I don't mean the one from tracfone I mean the lg users guide it is 104 pages so I really don't want to download and print it.

Why print it? Read it online.

Click on your browser and then click on free apps and games. In the search bar type in tracfone.

Just playing with my new tsv phone and discovered this:

I had done this with my previous tracfone (ZTE) phone. The ZTE came with a micro SD card in it. The LG L41C has a slot for a micro SD card. So I erased everything on the card using my old phone and slid it into the new phone. Within 30 minutes I had downloaded music and pictures onto the SD card (now in the new phone)!

Getting to my point now...I was able to use my downloaded songs for my ringtone and my alarm settings {#emotions_dlg.lol}

For ringtone: go to settings app, click on sound, click on phone ringtone. On the top of this page there is a circle with a + inside it. When you click on the +, the songs on your SD card will appear and you can choose any one to be your ringtone.

Hope that helps!

BTW LOVING the new phone {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

namste000,

Thank you so much. I have used the same family ringtone for years and because of your sharing I have it back. So happy.

Marp2,

Glad it worked out for you!

I know the feeling - I need to hear John Lennon singing "Imagine" whenever I get a call {#emotions_dlg.blush}
