That price seems a little high, the last TSV TracFone was less expensive and had more minutes. I'm thinking that's more than I want to pay...especially for only 1200 minutes.

Review on a blog. http://tracfonereviewer.blogspot.com/2014/10/lg-ultimate-2-l41c-tracfone.html

This phone has Android 4.4 Kit Kat, and more storage than most Tracfones.

The last TSV wasn't a smartphone, and the minutes were shared by talk, text, and data. The smartphones have three different buckets, which means 1200 minutes of talk, 1200 texts, and 1200 mb of data. If a person only wants a cell phone to talk and/or text, a regular feature phone like the last TSV is a good choice. Something else to note, which is stated on the Tracfone FAQ page, is that if a person switches to a smartphone, doesn't like it and wants to go back to a regular phone, he/she would lose all their minutes only keeping their service date.

Your expiration date will be extended by a year . If they expire in February, with the new phone it will expire 12 months from February.
It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.

I caved...looks like a beautiful device, love the sleek look to the web pages and the GPS feature is cool. And the Skype feature with front facing camera! Can't wait to get it!!

My Centura browser is so crummy and swamped with ads so I rarely use it so I have close to 5000 mb of data! I pay $44 each time for 600 minutes and that buys me 4-5 weeks of talk time anyway and need to buy minutes soon anyway. Rarely have dropped calls with Verizon.

When you get your new phone, I highly recommend bypassing the Tracfone browser and Chrome browser that are provided. Download the Firefox app and use it as your browser...fast, efficient, no freezing, and no ads! Also don't forget to download a virus app. There are several that are free and good. I use Norton Mobile. Another good app to keep your phone running well is Clean Master. I rarely use data as I am almost always somewhere that has wi-fi. Another hint is to save your battery by turning off location, data, GPS, and wi-fi when not in use.

I caved on this too. I love all these features and have been wanting to upgrade. I bought the last Tracfone TSV a few months back on the Q and this, for me is definitely an upgrade.

I bought the LG Optimus Dynamic 2 in May, so I'm passing on this deal today, but I'm really looking forward to reading the reviews as people get the phone. It looks like a great phone, hopefully there will be no bugs like some people have had with the Centura (a clock issue).

I also like Firefox for my cellphone browser. The first thing I always do is add AdBlock Plus to it after I've downloaded. I use Avast as my antivirus.

You may want to look at buying a regular cell phone with Verizon. Tracfone is "giving" customers a great phone so they will use their data plan. The data plans with tracfone are high. http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php/1813574-Tracfone-Android-Data-Plan-Ad-on-Costs

I was undecided until I did a little research...have now decided not to order.

Curious to know why you decided not to order? Do u think the price will be lower near Christmas?
