something else I realized is there is no microphone on this tablet so you can ask it anything like other tablets have....I would think if there was...they would have talked about it...

that is a fun feature...I have it on my other tablet...and I was watching the HSN demo for their Acer tablets for their TS....and they were asking it all kinds of questions and getting answers...

now I am not sure....once again....

Um it has a microphone, they all do. And anything that is google certified has google now or ok google.....

W.J.....if it has a microphone....why aren't they asking it questions like they do other tablets they have sold...usually that is one feature they love to use for us to hear....I have watched several presentations and not one host or vendor has said a thing about it...

Apologies W.J. I just took a closer look at the tablet and I see the microphone....

I am going to be honest (aren't I always, LOL)

Anyway, I don't know anything about this tablet....but if you or anyone else is going to buy something like this and expect it to run and work like an iPad or Samsung or Kindle...think again.

Its cheap for a reason.

Same can be said for that HSN b*s they are selling today.

Lynnj.....no, I am not expecting anything more then a simple tablet to play games on and read my e-mails....my granddaughter only plays the games...she is 8....

What I am hoping...its not filled with advertising...I sent one back because of the constant ads that kept popping up each time a game started over...it was so annoying...

Circles, the ads that pop up are app driven, not the tablet. Any free app is going to have annoying ads. Sometimes a little icon will come up that says "to get the ad free version, you can get it for $2.99", or whatever little price.

Some game apps have more ads than others. It is how the developers make their money. Expect ads for free apps, but it does not reflect on the tablet quality.

thanks, gabstoomuch....I have a Nook...and lots of free apps on it...and have never had pop up ads....its one of the original Nooks from years ago....I guess I was basing the ads by that tablet....

Stay with a name brand even if for a child. I purchased 2 off brands of Androids...D2 and Nobis...both worked about 6 months & quit working. I could not log in. Tried everything I found online even watched You Tube videos...nothing worked. I was out about $100 each one but if I had bought better non Android ones...I would have one working now. Research online how much problems people are having with these Android tablets not lasting long. Get something more than an 8GB and expandable. Mine had preloaded Google apps...some I could delete and others not. These aps used up most of the 8GB space & I kept getting updates...before long no space left. I had not even added any apps of my own, no music, pics...nothing! Some of these cheap ones have a micro SB slot but useless to move apps to it...you have to add to the card & insert it...most times that even didn't work. My son purchased the new Dell Venue 10.1 tablet and it has a 3.0 USB slot plus the micro slot and you can expand it...don't know why Apple didn't do this to their tablets. Going to order a Dell...don't want Apple...tired of throwing money into cheap ones that don't last long...Do your research!
