I have two TCL TVs. Great picture quality and easy to set up. TCL happens to be the top-selling, and one of the highest rated, TV brand in China and they sell a lot more over there than they do here. I've had one of my TCLs for over two years and I would buy another in a heartbeat.

My TCL 55" Smart TV is over 4 years old. Great TV; would buy again. Got the best price at the time from Best Buy.

Just had TCL tv installed by Geek Squad this week. One geek said he has all TCLs in his own home. We bought the 58" TCL Roku for $320. That size is available only at Best Buy. Geek Squad wall mounted it along with a sound bar. Most large TVs benefit from a sound bar, especially if you're a senior, as we were told video has been improved over the years but audio very poor because TVs today are so thin...no space for good speakers. This one is hubby's tv, and he's very happy with it so far. We will buy this brand again.

Supposedly they are highly recommended TV's however I don't like them because you can't get them wtihout Android OS, Google TV or Roku built into the TV's. I refuse to even consider one because of that.

Samsung is really the best smart TV brand to buy, period, when it coimes to smart TV's. I probably wouldn't consider any other brand.

Samsung TV's don't have Android OS or Google TV built into them.  They have their own OS.  They might sell a few TV's that have the above but that's the exception rather than the rule.
