Has anyone tried this? I use their cell phone service and received an offer in the mail for Internet service so I ordered it since they have 15 day free trial . Our Xfinity/Comcast Internet price keeps going up. Figured T-Mobile was worth a try.

Yes, I have it with my 55+ plan with my phone, internet and a tablet it's around $121.00 a month (price just went up $5.00). Really have no issues with it. It's certainly a lot cheaper then cable and landline I had before, which by now would probably be around $300.00 a month. So, I cut the cord and stream and still cheaper.

It's an option for me in the future. I thought I might be doing it this year, as my cheap plan from Comcast ($25 for 400 MBPS) was due to expire in June. Then in April, Comcast sent me an email saying they were extending my deal for another year at the same price, so maybe next year. I was very surprised when Comcast extended the deal. That's not like them.

Is it reliable?  I've read that 5G internet can be slower at times and have more outages than cable internet.

I'm considering it, but I'm not sure about the reliability factor.

@geezerette , I can't compare to cable internet as I never had that, but I'm pretty satisfied with the T-mobile. Sometimes streaming can be wonky, but not sure of the cause of that. Pretty sure there are no contracts, so I guess you could try and see how it works out for you.

Yes, our family has it at our south Jersey shore house and have never experienced any problems.  In all honesty, we are not there 24/7 but enough to feel it is as good as any.  We only stream apps do not have TV cable.  Works fine on internet.

Ours just arrived so once it’s set up, I’ll report back. Fingers crossed!

Set up the t-mobile internet and so far, so good! We have one more week to decide if we’re keeping it.
