My grandchildren got a Lenova laptop for Christmas. While on the internet my daughter or grandchildren get a pop up from Systweak RegClean Pro telling them that there system health status is Fair with 30 errors and a medium damage level. Does anyone have any knowledge of what that is and if it's necessary.
If not, how can they prevent the pop up from reappearing?
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

we tried this money based internet service, it was bunk. we had registry errors on my lap top and can't clean them, they guaranteed it would clean all the registry errors. we paid $30 bucks for the service, it didn't work. also it is connected a win malware. it also deeply imbedded in the computer, it took me a couple weeks to un install all the garbage that was installed for cleaning the registry errors.
less then 2 days after installing this service, we got a call from some foreign country asking us to purchased from them money that was found in some account we had overseas.
sorry "joe', I don't have overseas accounts. I screamed loud enough, how dare they call, I asked them where they got my phone number from , in broken English from this systweak.
it doesn't work

I just googled and it appears that it is coming from McAfee. I am reading lots of complaints. Needless to say they will be switching over to Norton with which I have never had a problem.
Does anyone know how to stop the popup?

That is not legitimate software, it's malware, and the pop-ups are occurring because it's on the computer. If you want help in removing it, try one of the free help forums that specialize in assisting people in the removal of malware from their computers, such as the Malware Removal Forum or Bleeping Computer, Geeks2Go, Safer-networking, etc.

Yes!!! We've used that on ALL of our computers for years! Plus, you get free "upgrades" for a newer version all the time.
LOVE it! ![]()
