I cannot understand why my photos and calendar entries which I do mostly with my IPAD Air will not sync to my IPHONE 6. I seldom use my phone but is certainly is not powered off completel. It is on all the time and certainly works for incoming and outgoing calla, checking E Mail, browsing on Safari etc. I live with my IPAD Air using it constantly. Both devices show in settings as connected to the Wi Fi here at home so why won't the synching work. It has been weeks now since calendar entries made on the IPAD show on the IPHONE calendar and photos taken with one device do not show up on the other and old photos that I deleted from one device are still displaying on the other. I thought that the synching was supposed to happen automatically.

It should happen automatically, but what might be helpful is to go to the Apple website and post your question there in Apple Support, either under the iPhone or the iPad area.  It's very supportive.  Good luck.

Just a thought before you go any further, did you check in settings under the iCloud that you have it enabled on both devices? You also might want to look at your settings for your calendar and make sure they are identical on both devices. Good luck.

On your phone, go to 

"settings"

"icloud"

Then make sure you have clicken on the switch for "calendar".
