Suspicious E-Mail

Hi,

I just received my first suspicious e-mail on my personal account and would like to report it. The e-mail is from an "Esther Blais" and the title says,

"Donation. The UN have (sic) awarded you a grant sum. For claim, contact Mr. Robert daniel via email: robertdaniel83@"

I did not open this email as I am afraid it could contain a virus. Am I right? What should I do? This is scary. TIA!
