I know most people here are,Tracfones fans, I used to be,too.  Wal-Mart has a Samsung 17 free with their silver plan.  Different prices for  30 days, 6 months etc.  unlimited talk and text. Any tried Straight Talk?

I used it for quite a while years ago when I still had a flip phone.  I just used it for the occasional call and not at all for data, but I never had any problems.

There are cheaper and better plans.  Their customer service is a nightmare

If you dial Tracfone's customer service #..they give you a list of options to press..one is Straight Talk..so I assume they are under the same umbrella.

I'll keep mt Tracfone.

@Jo1313  Yes,you are right, they are all subsidiaries of Verizon.  Oh well.  I called today because for some reason I can no longer buy time from my phone.  I have to call the 611 611# . They used

the same credit card number for the transaction. The good thing about it is I didn't have to talk to a CS that I could not understand at all.  

This will be my last post on this subject, I know it's getting tiresome....me and my tracfone woes.🤐
