I am really dismayed by the SquareTrade service contract terms. I bought the Dell All-In-One desktop which came with a one year warranty. I wanted to extend coverage so I bought the 3 year SquareTrade service contract. However, it is 3 years from date of purchase so in essence it voids the one year warranty that came with the original purchase. I end up with 3 years coverage instead of 4 (original warranty plus 3 year contract). This means that either Dell is disingenuous about its original warranty OR QVC is engaging in false advertising. I am entitled to both warranties and want to know why I am paying for 3 years but really only getting 2 years.
