It may not be a crack in the phone,same thing happened to me,turned out it wasn't my phone,it was the screen protector, ordered a new one from Amazon, my son removed the old one replaced with the new new, " PERFECT " all good

Yes, I was hoping it was the screen protector ,but on the side of it, there seems to be s slight chip in glass. Since it is a fairly new phone, will have it checked out. Thank you all for taking time to help! Susi.
