Can't decide. I would like 4G to take with me when I travel.

If I needed a tablet with wireless service, I would buy an iPad.

I have both. I prefer the Ipad. My Samsung died after two years. My Ipad is still as good as the I got it, and I use it everyday.

I have a Samsung tablet and phone. I love both. Never had any problems. My daughter had ipads. She has replaced the tablet twice in the past year. Now her iphone lost the speaker part after 3 months. I can say the ipad people gave been very good about replacing her tablet and Phone. I just like the feel of the Samsung, not very scientific but there it is.

If you're looking for the 4G... I would have to say iPad. Samsung only has a handful of cellular capable tablets. I have my ipad, and 4G/LTE Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and a wifi only Samsung Note pro 12.2, but my iPad mini with 4G/LTE is my choice when I travel

I have both also. There were issues with flash, but I tend to agree that the ipad is the better choice. I was given my Samsung, by someone who hates Apple products. Plus, it was cheaper at the time. Someone else gave me an iPad mini, which is my favorite of all my devices.

This sounds horrible, but I have dropped my ipad mini dozens of times and it's still kicking. It's because it's so lightweight. I use it for reading and watching TV and movies. I can say the same for my Samsung.

Here's the other thing, if you like different kinds of apps, you will far more for iPad. My vote is for an iPad of whatever size you choose.

Another vote for iPad.

I am an Android person and I am not about to pay 2-3 times more for a name. Android is the top selling OS for a reason and price is certainly part of it. I've seen nothing yet than an iPad can do that cannot be replicated in some way with an Android Operating System Tablet. May not do the exact same things but will do as much, maybe more than the other ones.

For me it is Name/Price/Features in that order. Samsung is close to the top in almost everything they sell when it comes to electronic transmissions/receptions/Smart Phones and Tablets. The price of the Galaxy Tablet I bought for my wife some time back was way less than half the price of a similar iPad. Ain't into paying money for a just a name and a reputation when I can get the same, but a different name, for less $$$.
