Samsung Tablet ?

Can anyone tell me if the Samsung Galaxy 2 10.1 16 GB is a good tablet ? hubby and I know nothing about tablets we were at Best Buy and Office Depot and they had the tablet for $299 and Hubby saw another tablet at Best Buy Asus transformer TF300 I never heard of this brand he liked that one too we just don't know which one to buy. Appreciate any help on picking out a tablet.
