Samsung Galaxy Tab

I'm tempted to buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab, mostly because it's not as big and bulky as the ipad and will be easier to hold when using it as an ereader. I would love it if anyone who owns the Galaxy Tab gave me their opinion, positive and/or negative. I'm debating more than usual because of the hefty pricetag if I decide I do not want a plan as I already have wifi in my home and office. Thanks.
