The A15 5g in HSN is 6.5 inches and has a 5000 mah battery. You current phone is old and has degraded over time.

You will be able to find videos on YouTube to get information about the A15 5g.

@Nuttmeg : The phone was released in 3/23 and I purchased mine in 6/24 with 128 GB with 5000 mah fast charging battery. It is still fast charging. At the time thought this was a good purchase and tired of purchasing a new phone every year and stress of dealing with the activation process.

@cowboy sam : Wonderful that you love your phone. As you know: I have been dealing with a lot and wanted a phone to use for a few years to avoid the annual purchase and stress of activation.

@SouthernBee

You've probably already considered or done this, but have you called Tracfone CS and spoken to a human?

Tell them you made a mistake (definitely play the Old Lady card!) and ask how you can adjust your coverage or plan.

Just a thought that came to mind when I read your post.

@Tinkrbl44 : Thank you. I will do that in June. I'm 70 handicapped, with bad back and bad eyes. Will be seeing a specialist in April about cataract  surgery. It's  really frustrating and difficult trying to do stuff.

Your current phone should be decent since you brought it in 2024.

I bought the above phone from QVC on Nov. 19, 2024 for total 92.03.

( In case they erase thier own link above....Item Number E325306 Tracfone 6.5" samsung galazy A15 5G Unlimited Talk.Text +24GB data)

Currently SOLD OUT.

One year of service....works out to about 7.60 a month UNLIMITED talk and text.

GOODBYE VERIZON LANDLINE...and all that HORRIBLE customer service. I held onto it WAAAAAAYYYYYYY too long. ( My internet was bundled with that phone...My new internet provider is way better, faster, and MUCH better customer service....)

Verizon Internet-landline bundle??? 123.00 per month  ....1,476 per year!!!! YIKES!!!!

I dont' use the cell phone data function....I have a laptop at home for that and I don't need maps to go to Walmart and Aldi once a week....for my use this is PERFECT!!!!

And if I want or need more data, I can buy it from the Tracphone. No problem!!!

And.....when I'm home it connects to WIFI so I can use data to my hearts content....same at my doctor's office and while waiting at the dealer to get my car serviced.

It sold out pretty fast!!!

The phone is beautiful. Took about ten minutes to transfer my old  TF number to this new phone.

Very pleased with TracPhone. For me...I buy what I need and no more.

And I don't care what anyone thinks about what kind of phone I have or what color my text bubble is.!!!!

Next to go will be Direct TV. They AND Verizon raise thier rates every other month it seems. I'm DONE. Current DTV package is 119 a month....with the Verizon landline of 123 month that a TON of money to spend each month on nonsense TV and a landline!!!

$2,904 dollars a year to be exact. RIDICULOUS!!! I can stream that same garbage from some streaming service that costs ZERO.

Inertia is expensive!!!!

How Do You Transfer that just took 10 min.?  .  Seriously, I get so upset when I try to transfeer from old to new phones.  I've done it about 4 times now, but it gets harder each time.  I am going on 89 in a couple of months and don't have the patiences, or eyesight not as sharp.  I live alone, so no help on tech stuff, but usually I'm OK.  Just would like to find a quicker way like you did.  Usually takes me hours of frustration to transfer.

How do you do it? I would really appreciate some advise.  Thank you

Re: Samsung Galaxy A15 Tracfone 5G has anyone purchased this phone?

@qvcaddition

I did it on the Trac Phone website, on my laptop...both the new QVC Tracphone and old  QVC Tracfone phones turned ON in front of me....with the red card that comes in the box with the NEW phone.

Follow the prompts on the screen.

Go to the "activate" tab and follow the screen prompts.

I think there are about three screens to navigate....they ask do you want a NEW number or keep your old one...( I kept my old one cause it's the one all my friends have)....

Then a box appears to put the numbers from  that red card that comes with your NEW phone. Your OLD phone's info is already in Tracphone's database...nothing to look up there.

Then on screen instructions follow how to make a call with the NEW phone to some other phone to make sure it connects ( mine did...I called my landline)....then turn the new phone OFF then back on...and voila you're in business.

Very simple!!!

Hope this helps!!! Very easy to set up an account on Tracphone website. Then you can also buy more  minutes or data if you need it.

My NEW TracPhone from QVC is 60.00 for a YEAR or unlmited calls and texts. I don't see how you can beat that.!!!

I hope you can find someone to help you. I am in NO WAY tech savvy, and was prepared to send the phone back if it was too complicated to set up.

I was actually surprised it went SO fast and easy!!!!

Thamk you so much.  I have used the transfer wizard in the past.  I will try this when my phone comes in.

No I have no one to help me, I know more than my sons do and try to help them.

Always did my own transfer, but took me hours last time. Thank you again and will try this method when I get the phone.

Did all your pictures also get transfered?
