My laptop has been freezing up a lot, and I did a search to see what might be causing it. Several sites say you have to use a registry cleaner and offered a free scan; one company's scan showed almost 2,000 "errors," and another, around 800.
I have no idea of what this is - is it something essential that will help me, or are they just trying to sell a product? If it is something I need, does anyone have a service they're happy with? On the surface it would appear that the one that found the most errors is the most reliable, but then again - is it accurate?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!
