Hi,
I rec'd my Nextbook 3 today which is for my husband this Christmas. Since their presentations said to charge it fully, and since so many people have rec'd bad tablets and they were going to be gifts, I decided to open it and see if it at least started & to charge it. I was able to set date, etc, very easily - and connect to our home wifi without any problems. I "googled" a couple of different things, but didn't really go to a site - just wanted to see how fast it was and it was pretty fast.
I just spent a few minutes with it - want to get it all charged up before I wrap gift, so it will be ready to go Christmas Eve.
Thanks for all the input that was given this past weekend. I had gone to a couple of sites one mainly about Andoid apps and it said that Nextbook was not good because one couldn't go to Android marketplace. I guess there is also a site called "slideme" where android apps can be downloaded which nextbooks can use. Not sure how much I will use of different apps, and did not know if this should be a concern or not as I really don't know anything at all about the tablets. I have a Kindle, so will be downloading that app, but mainly my husband will be using this to browse web, etc, when he is at school.
Thanks again!
