REDADER APP on Windows 8.1 Asus Lapto Touch

Hi, I would like to remove the pdf files that are in the Browse window.

Under the word Browse it says "recent" 

 

When I open the reader,  The "Browse" window shows 14 files. I can open the files, when done, I can close the file with the X on the bottom right corner .

 

Other files open and say: "Can't open this file, not available."  My question is , How can I delete the pdf files I don't want to keep in the Browse screen ?   

This is not Adobe Reader, it is the Reader App that automatically comes on windows 8.1.

Changed  spelling on heading .  Anyone know this answer?

I tried the Reader APP in Windows 8.1. I got the same message in windows. I do not plan to delete a file just not use this app. The file happen to be my taxes for 2014.
