I finally made my decision and purchased an iMac and yesterday spent time in my first One to One trying to learn the basics. So far I am not so happy as things are very very different from my HP laptop - but I'm willing to take on the learning curve.

First: how do I create folders for my mailbox?

Second: how do I create a date/time for my desktop that is always visible on the bottom bar. This is very important that I always see - esp the time.

Third - I have failed three time installing Parallels - now it is uninstalled. The program is on a thumb drive and I am completely unable to get out of the date with it. THe Apple folks can't help me as they don't "do Windows" as they said.

I'm hoping I get over this feeling that I made a big mistake - but I'm trusting the feedback here that so many of you love your MACs and hope to join you relatively soon.
