Question about mAh

My phone needs battery pack 2.4V 600 mAh NI MH

The only ones I can find are 2.4V 700 mAh NI MH

And 2.4V 800 mAh NI MH

The sales person says they are fine (of course, they are trying to sell them), but I am afraid they might start a fire or ruin my phone. Does anyone know for sure about this?
