Recently I had to change telephone companies and was assured there would not be a problem with my internet provider..... well there was, once the phone company switched me over my internet was gone!

I called the phone company and they could not understand why there was a problem, but when I called the internet provider they confirmed that they could not provide me with internet....so in a hurry I set up a gmail account and I really dislike it.

I was used to using the mail program that was loaded on my MacBook air, it was very clean, just email not all the stuff that is on my gmail account, (I don't want circles, friends, etc., just email) anyway can someone tell me why and or how can I get an internet provider that allows me to use the mail program that came with the computer???

This is probably a dumb question, but I'd really like to know...my nearest apple store is 1.5 hours away, and I cannot get there for another month or so.......thanks for any advice.
