Question On Kindle Books + Samsung Galaxy S4 Phone

Hello I am wondering if anyone could answer this for me...as a disclaimer I am just learning about these 2 devices. If I have a book on my Kindle can I read that same book on my S4 phone? or do I need to re-purchase that book to my phone??

I see a app on my new phone but haven't a clue about it. I just purchased this phone last night and am learning about it.
