I've had this weird situation with my contacts on my LG Tracfone.  In my contacts I will have about 10 that just say (no name).  I would delete them.  Yesterday I turned my phone on and I had about 100 of these (no name) contacts.  I don't know where they came from or how to mass delete them.  I Googled it without much success.

Has anyone had this problem?  Here's what it looks like.

You must have inadvertently synched accounts. Go to Swttings>>Synch & Accounts ....and uncheck the box to synch accounts. That will get rid of all unknown contacts.

My accounts are always linked and synced. I want them that way. Could you be in Groups, or maybe looking at a speed dial roster that has no entries on it?

I can't figure it out @x Hedge.  I tried unsyncing my accounts but that didn't work either.  It's a mystery.

I had this happen once - was a pain in the neck to erase them all, but it hasn't happened again.

I skimmed thru. Someone thought it had to do with the way their contacts app linked to Whatsapp. Someone else thought Outlook caused it. There are other possibilities in the discussions. Pointless for me to go further without your phone. Good luck!
