I'm an old XP user and now have a Windows 7. I want to make Google Chrome one of my browsers. IE isn't playing my you tubes for some reason, so I want Chrome to view videos when I need to.
I want the Google Page to be my main page. But, when I go into Google chrome, it brings up the last site I was on as the home page. Is there a way to program it so that it always comes up the Chrome home page?
Thanks.

Yes, click on the 3 lines to the far right of the address bar. When the window pops up, go down to "settings" which is 4 from the bottom. The first line says sign in, which you can skip. Then, you will see: "On Startup" There are 3 options:
Open the new tab page
Continue where you left off
Open a specific page or set of pages "Set Pages"
Click on the third option, and click on "Set Pages"
Fill out what you want, and click OK.
Hope this helps!

By the way, as you can see there are more items on the settings page that you can customize, such as the search engine you want to use when you type something into the Omnibox (address bar). Also, scrolling down you will see that you can set your default browser to Chrome.

You can reset Chrome back , and start things over. I find this browser and the other Google tools work well together with Android phones and tablets.

I have a google chromebook and I love the ease of use so I had DH put chrome on his windows 7 laptop - he loves it! I know you will be happy you decided to do this.
