Couldn't get on using Chrome but could using IE.

Same here. I was on at lunch to see the lunchtime specials but since then I get the ""unavailable"" message on Google Chrome. But I got on with IE.

Hi, kze! That's interesting. At the moment I'm noticing Firefox (v. 31.0) is a mess, but Chrome (v. 37.0.2062.94) looks AOK. (I'm using an iMac, never use IE.)

It seems to come and go. What a train wreck. They need to toss this mess out and start from scratch.

On my tablet, qvc.com is not available and the forums are jacked up. No images, layout is wonky.

For anyone having trouble with a tablet, try the Opera Mini web browser.

Using my iPad, I'm finding Opera's a bit slow (like it always is -- it's not a fast, elegant browser but it works and it uses less data for those interested in that aspect of it) but the formatting is better, at least for the moment.

(It's available for Android, too.)

(for more info go to: http://www.opera.com/mobile)

It's possible the QVC site has been hacked and their IT department is doing some behind the scenes cleanup.{#emotions_dlg.ohmy}

I don't know which is more frightening that the site might have been hacked or that their IT Department is in charge of cleanup... Personally, I think this is 'planned maintenance' or an 'upgrade' that went awry, as they usually do around here... And, of course, they posted no advance notice...

Hi, stevieb! There was no advance notice, but they posted a banner at the top of the page late last night/wee hours of early this morning that they were doing scheduled maintenance on the website.

I knew that was a terrible sign. This sort of mess always happens after their inept technical team tries to make changes here.

A mess indeed.

eta: I wouldn't start a panic about possible hacking, but frankly I don't save my credit card info on this website anymore. Not since the debacle a couple of years ago when they had a major glitch and displayed other customers' account numbers when we tried to log in.

Thanks for the info. I didn't see the banner about planned maintenance, but I sort of figured that's what it was... Unfortunately, it almost always seemed like they have unplanned glitches that crop up during their planned maintenance!
