Never heard of having to have a payment history for easy pay.

I have a checking account that I only use for online purchases. I keep only enough money in there to cover the debit card purchases I make and easy pay payments. As a QVC shopper since 1985, I have NEVER been asked for any type of extra verification when I placed an order, no matter the purchase price.

You do not have to have the full amount of the purchase to use easy pay, just enough to make the first ez payment + all taxes and shipping & handling. TSV computers come to mind as a time when many customers try the Q for the first time. These are always on ez pay, and there is no extra credit checks for all of these new customers.

If you ordered numerous high priced items as a first order, I am sure they would probably want more verification before sending out thousands of dollars in items. This could include a credit report check. All retailers have policies in place to prevent theft, and it looks like your purchases sent up a red flag. When they checked into your credit a little bit deeper, things must not have checked out well. Your experience is very unusual. You should probably get a copy of your credit report and see if there is a problem.

my bank card has a hold for first payment.. it went through... and there are no credit checks for easy pay.. and it was 1 item not many... this is what my order status shows.. its not a joke.. http://postimg.org/image/xf1o1l9vb/

The whole thing is rather odd. And to top it all off the OP has to wait for the original hold to be removed for a product that she won't be receiving. I would imagine that could be 2-3 days. If Q had cancelled the order the hold should have been removed immediately IMO.

I didn't know you needed to establish a "payment history" with Q before using Easy Pay. Hosts have always said Easy Pay is available to everyone, even if you are a brand new Q customer. So, yes, I can see where the OP is questioning that.

Thank you for taking me seriously.. im not trolling im just confused and frustrated

I do not take this seriously. You DO NOT need a payment history. The first purchase my daughter made was a computer on 6 easy pays, with a debit card AND no previous history (and I might add, not a high monthly salary either.) And really, to say some retailer makes you "sick"???? how mature.

the truth is hard to swallow but never the less its what i was told by corporate ... so believe it or not... they said it was a big ticket item and i couldn't get it with easy pay.. but lets be real.. if u use easy pay its going to have to be a big ticket item.. alot of u guys are quite rude for no reason

Question: Was this item even offered on easy pay? --
(Not everything is!)

If not, then that's why QVC would not allow the purchase, and probably your bank declined the charge (debit) for whatever reason. If that's the case, you need to talk to your bank (and not blame the Q).

The other posters are correct that new customers can use easy pay for a purchase (but it's also up to your bank if you're using a debit card, online, and not using your PIN # for an order).

What is the item, (TV) you are trying to purchase anyway? {#emotions_dlg.blink}
