Problem with HD tv picture resolution

All of a sudden my HD tv is showing 480p in the upper right hand corner instead of 720p which it always has shown since I first got it. I really don't think the quality of the picture has changed any, but I could be wrong about that. Am I maybe not getting HD tv anymore? I am a Comcast customer but calling them about this would be probably quite useless. Don't want to talk to India today. Thank you for any advice you may have. Jan
