A string of Equifax tabs showed up across my tablet. I close one and another pops up on the right. I hadn't  gotten an email from Equifax or a pop up ad that I opened.

 

When I open a tab, there is no unsubscribe option. Any sugestions?

The first step is always to shut down and reboot the device. If the problem persists after a reboot, then I'd look into some anti-malware for the tablet and do a scan. There might be something going on there.

@occasionalrain,  If you're talking about browser tabs, close it and clear all cookies/cache/history/website data for that browser.  

Then relaunch and see if that made a difference.  

If you think the browser is corrupted, completely delete the app and then reinstall it.  
"Unsubscribe" would usually relate to an email message, and if you're seeing unwelcome mail it's best not to click/tap unsubscribe since the link could be unsafe... best to mark those as spam instead and block them.  

What kind of tablet do you use?

Yesterday, I called equifax and they were no help.
