Premier Support - ACCOUNT SUSPENDED?!

Can someone please explain why my Premier PC Support account was suspended? I purchased my HP Laptop in Nov 2016 which came with Premier Support.  I used them one time (11/5/2017).  Two weeks later my account was suspended. On 11/12/17, I called the 844-615-9525 number in the original activation pamphlet and got the recording to call 248-282-6259.  I called the 248 number only to get a recording that I was number 39 in the que and I should go online to "supportmefirst.com" to get remote support.  What a JOKE! The supportmefirst.com site was an advertisement. Meanwhile, I remained on hold for 4 hours trying to reach a live person.  I finally hung up after 4 hours; I was #19 in the que.  The very next morning (11/13/17) at 5:15AM I called the 248 number.  I was #12 in the que...I felt pretty lucky.  Nope. I remained on hold for 15 HOURS!  Yes, 15 hours.  I had nothing better to do that day...so I remained on hold for 15 hours only to make it to #2 in the que.  I was #2 in the que for 4 hours. I've tried several times since Nov 13th to contact Premier Support to resolve my account suspension problem, but no luck.  I called QVC customer support to see if they had another number for Premier, but she could only give me numbers to HP and Microsoft. Meanwhile, I've had to pay for advance tech support through ATT (my internet/phone provider) with techs in India to resolve my computer issues.  HEAR ME QVC! DO NOT PROMOTE A COMPANY SUCH AS PREMIER SUPPORT UNLESS THEY CAN IN FACT PROVIDE PREMIER SUPPORT!  I mean really...this company is a joke,

Did you ever receive any information regarding this issue? I was trying to contact them today, but the website doesn't work. The phone number doesn't work. And I called QVC customer service to ask if they still use Premier Support, and the girl told me they still use them and they are still in business. Isn't that interesting? I had life of my PC support, and now I'm really regretting the decision to get a PC nonetheless on QVC. I will forever stick to Apple at the actual Apple store from now on. Oy.

Once again.  we would NEVER use a 3rd party service for our computers.  We are a Mac family.  We use Apple Care and have been well served.  We would NEVER buy a computer or smart phone from ANY TV shopping channel.

 

When you purchase a computer and are considering extended tech support coverage, go to the manufacturer's website and see if they offer extended warranties or service plans through the company and the factory.  They used to have them.  Not sure whether they still do.  I'd trust them long before I'd trust ANY other source.

My office manager has this tech support on her computer too [her home computer] They are terrible people to deal with. They hang up on people, they are nasty I would not be surprised if they did go out of business. I feel bad for the  folks here who have to deal with them ... good luck to you,

I agree with you no one should order any computer from a shopping channel, I never would but, some people can not afford a Mac or any other expensive computer so they go for shopping like this for a more inexpensive device, its a mistake I know but, a lot of  people think they are getting a good deal.

@apple1964 I understand exactly what you are saying about price, but the fact is, if I were to tally up the costs we accumulated by purchasing VERY HIGHLY REGARDED PCs, we probably could and SHOULD have become an APPLE family MUCH SOONER. For us, upfront costs are worth the peace of mind.

 

Savvy shoppers can find extended purchase plans for Apple products. NO technology is totally free from flaws, let’s face it, but especially if the buyer has reasonable access to an Apple Store (and I know some don’t) Apple is the most relaxing equipment I’ve ever used. And I’m sticking with it.

premier tech support is out of busines. qvc now uses tech live connect.

the number is   1 800 648 5998.good luck getting hold of them

The exact same thing happened to me.  I bought this computer from QVC because of the "lifetime" free PC support.  I was looking at the Apple PC but bought this because the free support was exactly what I needed.  The first few months worked fine.  Then after 3 months or so without using it, I needed it.  The website was not working, then I tried the phone.  Just like in previous comments, I started out way far out on the queue.  I hung up and continually called thru the day and it was always a high number in the queue.  After several days of this, I put the phone on speaker and went about my business at home.  After many hours I got to #3 in the queue and phone disconnected.  Tried several times to no avail.  I called QVC customer support and they told me they would report it but nothing else they could do.  What???  I will NEVER buy another technology instrument thru QVC.  They have DISHONEST marketing.

This lack of advertised support isn’t anything new.  Years ago, I bought a computer from QVC (can’t remember the brand)  when they claimed to have a special Customer Service phone number just for QVC customers.

 

 So fast forward ... the mouse stopped working properly and when I called QVC, I was told to call the manufacturer direct.  So much for the “special number”.

Consider yourself lucky there have been many complaints premier support is the worst ever.
