Portable dvd player suggestions?

I'm looking for a portable dvd player to take on long trips with my 3 year old. For example, we're going to be going on a 4 hour plane trip this summer and I'm thinking some dvds might keep him (and the rest of the plane!) from going crazy. I'd use it for really long car trips as well. I was looking at this player:

I'm concerned that it only has about a 3 hour battery but I figure between take off and landing we'll likely be able to make it work on the plane. Does anyone have this player or have any other suggestions? I took a cursory look on amazon.com and the price seems to be pretty good, especially considering the extra car charger, but I figured I'd see if anyone on the board has any experience with these. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
