Please help me with font issue

Can you please tell me how to permanently enlarge my font size on Wordpad? I have to do it manually every time I use it. I have Windows 10. Thank you for any help.

Dear nutmeg; thank you so much for your response. I will go right now and check it out. I use Wordpad for my recipes and I need a larger font than 11- that's what it keeps reverting back to. My old eyes can't see that well. I appreciate your help immensely ! Have a great day!

Did you open the file on the desktop when you wanted to create a new document?  It's not going to change the old documents you have.  The instructions are only for new documents.  If you want to change the font for old documents you'll need to open each one, go to edit, select all, change the font then save.

I hope it works.  If you created a new document per the instructions provided nutmeg3 and saved it on your desktop, it is now a template to use for all new documents.  The next time you want to create a new document, open the one on the desktop instead of going to the program.  After you're finished with the new document, be sure to save it with a new name.  If you don't, the template will no longer be blank and ready for use.
