I am NOT computer literate at all.
My computer has been running slow, freezing up, getting pop-ups, and refusing to behave properly. I had it diagnosed by the Geek Squad and they said it has a virus even though I have anit-virus protection. This is the 2nd time this has happened. The last time, it cost me $130 to fix it. This time, it will be another $130 and more money to back up and clean my files. I am at a loss as to what to do because it seems like every few months this is happening and costing me $$$$$. They said that if I backed up my files (which I have absolutely no idea how to do)...mostly photos I don't want to lose and put them back into the clean computer, I may reinfect it as these files may be corrupt. I really am at a loss as to what to do and can't afford to keep shelling out large sums of money every few months. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any and all information will be deeply appreciated. Thanks you so very much in advance. docsgirl
