@OKPrincess, thanks for that.  It might come to Laser.  I don’t print hardly at all.  LM

Re: PRINTER ISSUE, Canon Peinter

We don’t print much either and that’s why the ink kept drying out. Best Buy recommended the laser jet and then I don’t worry because the cartridges don’t dry. Good luck.

Canon should have a help desk you can call for free.  I used to work for their help desk years ago (in a non-tech role) and it's usually something minor.

Also, because I did this, make sure you took off all the plastic coverings of the ink cartridge.  There can be more than one ;o)

Re: PRINTER ISSUE, Canon Peinter

@OKPrincess, thanks for posting your purchase.  I am seriously thinking about doing that.  I had a laser printer, a Brother, about 20 years ago.  I think the replacement cartridge or toner was $120 ... pretty dear but I needed it for consulting work I was doing.  I can't remember what happened to that but I did like it.

Any comments on color v. color and black?  I think I might just do black since I rarely use it.  LM

@Lilysmom At Best Buy, I don’t remember the price difference in the printers but the black ink only laser printer was cheaper.
