PC games for Windows 7

I have an older-type person on my gift list who has requested games for his laptop. He is not interested in internet games, he's a standalone type of guy.

Most of the games I have found are too violent, and/or science fiction. He's a western movie fan. Simpler times.

He really liked a game called 1602 AD, which is a resource-management game, if I have my terms correct.

He's got a Dell laptop, newish, with Windows 7.

Any ideas? I'd be grateful.
