PANDIGITAL WAND SCANNER

I am wondering if anyone has any advice on the TSV 4/20 Pandigital Wand Scanner

I am on the fence. Looks good but I get antsy when electronics are bundled with all kinds of software that I neither need or want.

I could not find this item anywhere else... not even my beloved Amazon.
