For those having cable or satellite that carries either msnbc or cnbc, itunes has a free Olympics Live app that will stream ALL olympic programming to pcs and ipads and some android tablets and ipods. Download the app and it then sends you to NBCs website where you it tells you the 3 steps to take and follow the prompts. It will ask for the user id and password that your cable/satellite account uses to login to the app and its that easy. I downloaded it to my pc and will also download it to my tablet. I bought a roku a year ago and subscribed to a movie channel and a tv channel plus all the free programming and cut my expensive satellite off. Although NBC is a free over the air channel, I cannot pick it up where I live since it went digital and I wanted to watch the olympics. My daughter, who lives about a mile away, was here last night and logged onto her cable site with the NBC app so now I can watch the olympics on my pc or tablet. I considered hooking up satellite basic package for the olympics but didnt make sense to me to pay for channels I wouldn't watch for 2 yrs.
