Anyone ever have any problems ordering or returning things from Amazon?

My DH is wanting to order a monitor from Amazon & read some reviews, some good some bad. I just wondered before we order if anyone here had any experiences, good or bad they could share with us. On electronics I guess I always like to buy locally in case of problems but I got my laptop thru HP online & no problems, my Ipad too. Any thoughts on it.
