First I thank the people who responded to my plea about my new Dell. I do have to say that I took apart my old trusty HP and replaced it with my new Dell with the cheapest keyboard I have ever seen, and then after plugging in everything in it's right place, I had to call Dell help and got a wonderful guy from India (my second try after a half hour of someone who was new) and got things set up, over two hours. To the people who said my CLICK FREE would transfer my pictures which I thought were totally backed up, you were all wrong. I put in the cliick free and the wonderful man from India who I gave my computer to to set up thngs I wanted, said and I saw on MY screen that there were NO pictures. I can't tell you how much I trusted the click free and as my computer memory grew smaller I backed them up with that product. The Delll guy knew all about it but I saw on my own screen that there was very little transfered and no photos. I am furious totally furious. All I need to know at this point since I see no way to ever get to my computer or get into the start menu as in accessories and...turn the darn thing off. How do I turn it off? There is NO way except to just push the button. Please, if any of you know about Windows 8.....is there a way to turn it off and how do I get to all of the computer innards that I often visited and used. Right now I am hating Windows 8.
