I am shopping for a new laptop and it would really help to know what is coming up, the other channel has a HP Intel i5 processor laptop coming up, sooner. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

My usual reply is to go directly to the manufacturer and price out the "exact computer specs" you want on your next computer. Most of them offer some type of payment plan and I have yet to buy a computer that cost as much as those on any of the shopping networks, and the ones I bought from the manufactures have/had much better hardware components than those offered on the shopping networks.
Go to HP/Dell/Acer and put together a computer that fits the needs of purposes for which you will be using it. Sure, with shopping networks they throw in all kinds of software. Unless you have little software on your present system, many of them are some times just different versions of what someone already is using on their old systems.
If you want software and think it is worth the extra bucks??
Can't answer your specific question, sorry about that. What I did say are facts and it depends of what a person wants to do with them.

I would not recommend purchasing any laptop/computer/electronics from QVC. They sell older models at outrageous prices. They attempt to justify the cost by adding useless accessories. Also, I think that Apple products are the best. They may be more expensive but worth every penny. I would recommend the MacBook Pro.... but I would definitely purchase it directly from Apple.

I agree! Never buy any electronic from QVC. They will load you up with extras you do not need and they sell older models. if you are looking for a good PC try a Toshiba .. I have two in my house and they are wonderful. CS is excellent! Go on The Toshiba website they are very helpful. I would not go with a Dell anything the CS is from India and they are a nightmare to behold.
Happy shopping!
